Bookbinding Magic: Transforming Books into Works of Art FULL
Thursday April 17, 2025 10:00am - 10:50am CDT
Ever wished your favorite book looked as magical as it feels? Welcome to the world of bookbinding, where you can take a plain, worn-out book and transform it into a stunning, one-of-a-kind masterpiece! In this session, we’ll dive into the craft of custom bookbinding where I’ll take you behind the scenes of how book lovers are rebinding their favorite stories with luxurious covers, hand-painted details, and even custom sprayed edges. You’ll see real examples of my bookbinding projects, get an inside look at the entire process from start to finish, and learn how bookbinding can be used to preserve knowledge, personalize books, and bring creative flair to the world of higher education. This is NOT your average book talk—it's a visual, hands-on experience (well, my hands, but your imagination!). If you love books, crafting, or just want to see something totally unique, this session is for you!
