Welcome to Spring IDD!  We encourage you to take part by dressing the part for this IDD Luau! Please select your sessions!  Session descriptions will let you know if you need to bring a laptop or device to the session!
Please note the day will begin and end in the Welcome Center, however, breakout sessions will be held all over campus. The beginning number for the location is designates the building number. For example: 15-100 is in the 15-000 building, and 225 is in the 200 building. I have included a link to the El Dorado Campus Map in the opening session.

Thursday April 17, 2025 10:00am - 10:50am CDT
This session will address the impact of immigration issues on student learning and mental health.  Recent political issues have contributed to increased anxiety and worry among college students who are undocumented and many more with mixed-status or undocumented family members.  The level of uncertainty these students face can disrupt their sense of safety, well-being, and ability to focus on academics.  Even if students don't openly share these concerns, we can continue to provide an atmosphere of validation, support, and encourage help seeking on campus.
